God Save the Queen!

Nich is at it again. Sunday night- up at 4am and NEVER went back to sleep. Monday-less than an hour nap, then up at 1-2 am and up at 5:40am for good.
I AM A CRANKY LADY!
I'm so OVER not sleeping!
On top of all that, we have taken down popcorn ceilings, painted ceilings, and put up crown molding.
I think that I'm going to have a fit if I get woken up one more time.
I'm off to bed.....

Crazy Hairdo

I'm thinking short is cute, but the front is a little too short. Nich moved when I was doing that section. NOW...all I need to do is even it up. hahahha

Long time no write....
I totally butchered Nich's hair tonight. I was so tired of it standing up all crazy after a nap. I just thought, let me cut it a little....
THEN, I thought, I wonder how the dog shears would work on his hair. NOT A GOOD IDEA!
It's hella short. I sort of like it, if it were even that is. I guess I'm never going to be a hairdresser.
Oh, yea...and work bites the big one.

Teenagers SUCK

It is true..I once taught pre-teens and teens, but I must say now. Wait.. I'll shout it from the top of a mountain while spinning around in a flowery skirt (this is very dramatic since I hate to wear skirts)... I HATE TEENAGERS... or maybe just the attitudes that they are better than you and know everything. This realization only hit me just now. I used to like them...I used to teach them... I used to do a lot of things. NOW....can we send them to a remote island until they are grown?
Yes, my stepdaughters are visiting. It's fun, what fun. My poor toddler loves them so much, and they brush him aside. I'm guilty of that too, I'm afraid. He's so cute, but sometimes...I just need to be a human again.
Whatever..they leave Sunday! Maybe all will be right with the world again.
Until I have a craving to vent.

Today I got to sleep in for two whole hours! Gary took the baby over to my dad's, so I could get some sleep. I feel so guilty when I try to take time out for myself. Is that normal? I NEVER go to movies, go out to eat, or shop by myself anymore. I miss the days of pregnancy when I was able to see all the new movies that were out. I miss being on bedrest when I was allowed to watch tv all day and nap as often as I like. The anticipation of a new baby is no longer with me either.

Do all moms have that deflated feeling once the baby is here? I should say that Nicholas is one already. He is technically a toddler. The lack of much needed sleep for the entire first year of his life has made me dumber. I no longer recall anything "smart" or able to comprehend past a 1st grade level. Are you smarter than a 5th grader? Heck no! I don't read, unless you count magazines.

I think that if I did not work full time, I would be happier. I miss being home with him. I hate that others tell me what he likes and dislikes.

Man, I'm whining...I do love my little guy! He's the cutest....so photogenic (not from me for sure!)
